Founded by Julie Lynn-Evans and Hetal Dudhe, the studio is shaped by a shared passion for design, travel, culture, and the pursuit of lasting beauty.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
Every scarf begins with a thought. Before a single colour is chosen or a block is carved, we ask: how will this feel? How will it move? How will it be worn?

Every palette begins with the season. What light, what mood, what feeling does this time of year evoke? We spend months selecting, refining, and living with colour before it becomes a collection.

Each print is original — commissioned from artists, rooted in heritage motifs, or drawn from the natural world. Some are hand block-printed. Others bring a living artist's vision into wearable form.

The hand of a fabric — its drape, its weight, its warmth — matters as much as what is printed on it. Silk, wool, cashmere, pashmina: each chosen for how it feels against the skin.

How a scarf is worn — tied, draped, knotted, layered. The way it sits with a coat, a dress, a simple shirt. Every silhouette and proportion is considered before the final piece is signed off.

THE FOUNDERS
Julie Lynn-Evans and Hetal Dudhe met in 2004 while working in the video games industry. What began as a professional relationship evolved into a lasting friendship shaped by a shared appreciation for creativity, culture, travel, and design.
CO-FOUNDER
Julie brings over three decades of experience across the creative industries — spanning music publishing, television production, and video games. She led a successful agency representing game development studios and was recognised with the Women of the Year Award for Creative Impact in 2015. With a lifelong appreciation for hospitality, travel, and culture, she brings a thoughtful eye for quality, creativity, and meaningful connections to Araha London.
CO-FOUNDER
Hetal brings together entrepreneurship, technology, and creative vision. With experience building and scaling businesses across digital media and brand strategy, she combines innovation with a deep appreciation for design and storytelling. Inspired by her Indian heritage and life in Britain, she brings a global perspective to Araha London — one shaped by creativity, culture, and enduring elegance.
